It really did come to me in a dream - and this wasn't the
only time I have had productive dreams. That is what this week's
lead article is about.

Problem Solving In A Dream
The idea came to me in a dream. I was telling someone about
the "add-subtract-change" problem solving technique,
having aopparently just invented it in the dream. I had never
heard of it before, but previously, while awake, I had been working
on a book about problem solving. This new technique turned out
to be very useful when I tried it. It's an idea that has undoubtedly

This Week's Riddle
It happens once in a minute, twice in a week, and once in
a year? What is it?
(The answer is at the bottom of the page)
**********************************************
This Week's Brainpower Practice
Just use a problem solving technique for several weeks and
it will become a habit. Redesign everything you see for a while,
and that will become a habit. Choose any of the many problem
solving techniques and train yourself to use it, and you'll have
a more powerful mind. Many good thinking habits take some effort
to develop, but then you will be more resourceful effortlessly
from that point on. Use the power of habit.
